N44 is the new, “Crossover” type touring helmet by Nolan, an evolution of the hugely successful N43E AIR in both functional and design terms. N44 is a fully modular helmet, ideally responding to the needs of expert motorcyclists and suitable for both summer and winter use. Designed for urban riding, N44 is also ideally suitable for out-of-town touring, thanks to the adopted technical solutions, the product of several years of research and testing work aimed at achieving top results in terms of helmet comfort and state-of-the-art technology. N44 is equipped with the Microlock2 (patent pending) double lever retention system. This system consists of a thermoplastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminium toothed and holding lever. The toothed lever releases the micrometric strip, thus the chin strap can only be open
with a very broad rotation of the opening lever. This device minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening of the retention system.
